Deese I think we ought to make the May tournament the first or second week of May on Lake Jordan. Now that the water level is at normal pond and stable, the fish will start moving to the beds. With all the water fluctation, they have yet to spawn, so the fishing ought to be hot.

PWooten As for the ramp, Island Creek is in Virginia and I am not sure if Viginia will honor the permit. I heard County Line boat ramp is a good ramp. Does anyone have a preference?

PWooten The tournaments will be $30 per boat and a $5 optional big fish per member. It is only a 5 fish limit so you can either fish by yourself or with a partner.

PWooten We got the blanket permit for the year from the Wildlife Commission for the tournaments. It is a statewide permit covering all lakes and rivers in NC for the year.

Van I was going to go to the Triangle Beach Music Festival, but if we can get more people to fish on Saturday, lets do it on the 26th.

PWooten yeah I think the Saturday would be the best. Lets plan on the 26th.

Mike Kearney April the 26th which is that Saturday would be much better for me but I understand if that is a problem for everyone else. I know everyone will want to prefish but Sunday is just bad for me.

PWooten The date for the tournament is going to be the 26th or the 27th. Post up here which day is best for everyone.

Van I just checked that ramp status link. Satterwhite Point is closed.

Van We just put that ramp up on the schedule. We will probably put in at Satterwhite Point or off Hwy 39. We need input from people who have fished there before...I dont know which ones are pay ramps, or how much or if there are any free ones. We will probably be loading on the south side of the lake.

Van Whats up Carlos. We do need a scale. We are working getting a permit before the end of the month. I think we are going to have a per boat charge, so you can fish with whoever you want.

PWooten just fish with your friend. We will probably make it where it will be weigh in per boat so you can fish individual or with a partner.
